This agreement covers the software licence for the Distress Market mobile application provided by Buzzy Technology Solutions Ltd. Marketplace activity is also covered by the Terms & Conditions and personal information by the Privacy Policy.
Licence to use the app
Subject to applicable terms and store rules, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to install and use the app on devices you own or control. The app is licensed to you; its intellectual property remains with Buzzy Technology Solutions Ltd. or the relevant rights holders.
Permitted use and restrictions
Use the app lawfully and for its intended marketplace functions. Do not sell or sublicense the software, copy protected parts without permission, compromise its security, or use it to infringe another person’s rights. Restrictions on reverse engineering or interoperability apply only to the extent permitted by law and any applicable open-source licence.
Accounts, connectivity and updates
Some features require an account, verification, a supported device and internet access. Your network provider may charge for connectivity. Updates may change features or minimum requirements; security updates may be necessary for continued use. Availability may depend on your device and region.
Privacy and device permissions
Use of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Device permissions are requested for relevant features. Installing the app does not replace consent that must be separately obtained for particular processing. You may control permissions through your device settings, with effects on the relevant feature.
Third-party components and services
The app may use third-party software and open-source components, whose applicable licences continue to apply. Payment services, identity checks, linked websites and app stores may have separate terms. You must follow relevant third-party terms when using those services.
Support and responsibility
Buzzy Technology Solutions Ltd. provides support for Distress Market at support@distressmarket.ng. We remain responsible for obligations imposed on us by applicable law. Store operators do not become the seller of items listed by marketplace users.
App Store copies
For an app obtained from Apple’s App Store, the Apple Standard EULA applies unless a separate custom EULA is supplied through the App Store. Applicable Apple usage rules, including permitted sharing mechanisms, continue to govern those copies. This website does not replace an agreement supplied with your App Store download.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. Uninstalling does not by itself delete your account or cancel a separately purchased service. We may suspend or end your licence where necessary to address a material breach, a safety risk or a legal requirement, subject to applicable law. Read the account-deletion page to close your account.
Warranties, legal rights and governing law
The app is offered subject to applicable statutory rights. We do not promise that every device or network will always work without interruption. Any exclusion or limitation in this agreement applies only where lawful. Nigerian law applies subject to mandatory protections available to you and any terms that govern your app-store copy.
